The noblest pleasure is the joy of understanding” — Leonardo Da VinciI always take every opportunity to live life to the fullest, express the most amount of myself as possible, continually push myself to the point of transformation, and maintain harmony and balance both within myself and with the world around me.I started coding for fun in high school, since then I’ve led and been apart of software design & development teams building world-class high-performance modern software for companies like Carvana, SafetyWing, Apple and Cantor Fitzgerald.I’ve been drawing & painting for longer than I have been coding, so I studied fine art & illustration in undergrad in NYC and have created and sold oil paintings and illustrations as both commissions and as a personal work.Around the same time I started coding I became passionate about writing & producing original music, as a singer, songwriter, musician, and audio engineer. I have recorded and performed with a dozen or so bands over the years as a guitarist or a drummer, I have also produced and engineered for artists like Christian Rich, Les Racquet, Barton Stanley David & a few others.Some years after college I had a 5-yr stint living on several different boats in NYC. I lived a couple years aboard Yankee Ferry, helping build and run an 8-room B&B making it to the front page of Airbnb.com and featured on HGTV & Four Houses, in addition to many renovation and redesign/rebuilding projects. I spent the next 3 years living on a couple old dilapidated vessels of my own.I created a community garden in my Brooklyn backyard with many kinds of flowers, fruits and veggies, organized supper-clubs serving ingredients grown in my yard, and hosted a series of concerts featuring local musicians on a stage I built.I love people, nature, and the mystery of the unknown.
