Focused on the composition and literary design of Second Temple Jewish literature, specifically Qohelet (Ecclesiastes). Research interests include dynamics of analogy/analogical thought, historical poetics of Jewish scribal culture and the motivations and interpretations of their literature, intertextuality, inner-biblical allusion, and composition history of the Hebrew Bible.
