Desktop MW designs for proposed and existing network optimization projects- provide the optimum performance/cost approach, to achieve each client\'s path reliability objective- Antenna selection, center-line optimization, site selection - Recommendation of space diversity and specific radio modulation types/capacities- Licensed and Unlicensed microwave designs. Perform site and path surveys to validate modeled conditions for proposed microwave links by verification of the environmental and terrain parameters (coordinates, site ground elevation, and height of potential obstructions). Enhancements to the desktop design as paths are surveyed, and hop and network design is finalized- Support frequency coordination and PCN filing process, including PCN renewals- Support the FCC filing process- Liaise with product development and regulatory groups within Aviat to understand product specifications and regulations. Provide technical support as needed to prject- File FRN notices as hops are commissioned- Provide Microwave RF engineering support to implementation and maintenance teams to quickly troubleshoot network propagation issues- Develop Scope of Work and solicit quotes, negotiate best pricing, issue PO - Handle transactions in Oracle business system for subcontracted services, i.e. path surveys and FCC licensing- Review project progress with assigned project manager and network design engineer.
