About Aaron Paxton Arnold
2021 kicked off with a bang as I served as a Keynote speaker for the IBTM WIRED Global Conference-my first international speaking gig. I\'ve had a blessed career, which I describe as an \"integrated\" journey of professional, social, and entrepreneurial experiences. My background in public relations, journalism, music/entertainment, technology, and brand management allow me to provide a diverse expertise that people have found valuable. During the 2020 quarantine, I pivoted. I launched a limited series, “Bored Scared”, where I interviewed a few my celebrity friends, discussing everything from mental health to relationships. In addition, I went back to school at Emory University where I enrolled in a Humor & Comedy writing class. After receiving my certificate, I used my contacts to land a spot as a comedy/sitcom writer for a show on PBS. I am also currently working on other pilots/scripts for networks. I\'ve spoken everywhere from Harvard to Capitol Hill on business, entrepreneurship, purpose etc. On December 4, 2019, I spoke at Brigham Young University (BYU) in Utah on \"Faith & God-A Black Man\'s Perspective.\" In addition, I have been recognized for meshing the important areas of entrepreneurship, music, social responsibility & corporate America, educating/inspiring/entertaining kids, and young/seasoned professionals alike. During my stint on Kiss 104.1FM\'s morning show I delivered content on what people need to know (lifestyle, entertainment, news) I work to bring fresh and authentic perspectives from platforms like ESPN/TheUndefeated, Vh1|MTV, CNN, Forbes, Essence to hosting events with and or interviewing many game-changers including Fortune 500 CEOs to social activists. I\'ve tackled social issues and made appearances on: CNN, MSNBC, Black Enterprise (B.E.) In 2004, after four years of PR/Marketing agency life, I made the sacrifice leaving corporate America. I took an unpaid intern-assistant job with Bad Boy Records and Sean “Diddy\" Combs for 18 months. In 2006, I founded MusicIsMyBusiness (MIMB) and in 2008, MIMB was named one of America’s Smartest New Companies led by people under 30 according to Inc Magazine.
