   Aaron Shaw is an audit partner in the Accounting and Reporting Services group in Deloitte’s National Office, where he oversees the Compensation and Benefits subject matter team. He also focuses on revenue recognition, business combinations, financial statement presentation, and goodwill. In addition, Aaron serves as an Industry Professional Practice Director (IPPD) for Deloitte’s Technology attest practice.Prior to joining Deloitte’s National Office, Aaron spent two years as a Professional Accounting Fellow in the Office of the Chief Accountant at the SEC. During his fellowship, he reviewed pre-filing submissions from registrants and consulted with Commission staff on accounting matters, including business combinations, segment reporting, consolidation, revenue recognition, and income taxes.
