LEADERSHIP/MANAGEMENT: Act as a change champion. Lead courageously by addressing difficult issues. Work to resolve issues at the peer level and take measures to mitigate future issues. Establish and monitor annual goals and budgets to meet direction and strategic growth. Act as liaison with other Associate Deans/Department Heads and directly with Faculty to ensure effective collaboration across campus and represents Extended Learning in a variety of campus committees and task forces. Ensure compliance and knowledge of CSU/CSUSM policies and requirements in the execution, operation and reporting of all programs and program componentsSTRATEGIC PLANNING: As a strategic partner, recommend, create, and implement long and short term strategic plan goals and operational plans for Extended Learning. Ensure Extended Learning goals align with and support the overall mission of the university. Motivate and encourage commitment to achievement of strategic plans. Effectively communicate the strategic initiatives. Accomplish strategic goals for Extended Learning
