My passions include HR, Technology, Adult Education, Board Games, and Improv.HR: Most of my career has been in Human Resources. This includes my time at Deaconess Hospital, Norman Regional Hospital, Integris Healthcare, and Continental Resources. I have had the opportunity to learn and grow from the mentorship of some truly great HR leaders during those times.Technology: Within HR, I have specialized in the HRIS role, bridging the ever-growing demands of technology within HR. Technology has infiltrated all aspects of HR, including talent acquisition, training & development, time & payroll, compensation, benefits, workforce planning, and more.Adult Education: My formal education is in the area of adult education. It has been a fantastic journey learning the complexities of the human mind and how adults learn. The theories and research around corporate training, development, and UX are truly fascinating.Board Games: If you know me, then you know I love board games. With a collection of over 600 modern board games and several board designs under my belt, I am all in on the recent renaissance of board gaming. People are tired of scrolling through social media and are looking for a way to reconnect with real people in real life. Board games are that medium.Improv: What you may not know about me is my love for comedic improv. Improv is an amazing niche performance art that will reshape your life if you have the bravery to try it. I graduated from the 5-level curriculum at OKC Improv. During that time, my deepest fears of public speaking and performance were tested in a safe and rewarding environment.
