I am a Fire Systems Consultant Engineer within the construction industry, solving problems and creating engineered solutions for the protection of assets and life. My responsibilities include: The Detailed Design, full hydraulic calculation, and the creation of Specifications and Reports for domestic, residential, commercial, high hazard production/storage and special risk fire suppression systems in line with British standards, NFPA, FM Global, and other national codes such as the Chinese GB, Russian SP and Unites States Military UFC (Unified Facilities Criteria) fire protection codes. Understanding and compliance with RIBA stages of design. Auditing, reviewing and commenting on proposed and existing fire suppression systems, providing compliance reports, drawing review/approval, functional testing and full system inspection. Production of full tender specifications, tender drawings, cost sum analysis and tender appraisals. Utilisation of 2D AutoCAD and 3D Revit to produce detailed design layouts for a wide range of fire protection systems, including but not limited to: Sprinkler systems, Dry and Wet Risers, Fire Hydrants, Hose Reels, suppression systems, Total flooding gas suppression systems, FM 200/Novec 1230 gas suppression systems, Bespoke fire systems. The undertaking and managing of projects within the Military and defence sector, for clients such as the MOD (Ministry of Defence), United States Marines and United States Air Force. I possess sufficient clearance and responsibility to carry out the design and engineering for projects containing special risk, presenting unique problems to overcome. Attending client and project meetings, representing the company to the best of my ability. Responding to questioning and commentary by client representatives and engineers regarding my design drawings and documentation. Overseeing and managing the online presence on LinkedIn, creating content, branding and interacting with the professional community.

My involvement generally includes initial consultations with stakeholders and insurers through to the installation and commissioning of fire protection systems. My core expertise includes fire, electrical and mechanical engineering, focusing on various types of fire suppression systems.I have extensive experience working with private sector multinational insurance companies such as FM Global, Zurich, Chubb, AXA XL on high-risk portfolios and public sector insurers such as the U.K. Ministry of Defence and the U.S. Department of Defence.I am committed to continuously advancing my expertise by taking on diverse and complex projects, where knowledge and understanding of various design standards, codes and guidance are required. I am currently completing a part-time bachelor\'s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
