Senior-level leader with a 25-year record of leading cross functional engineering and data science/operations research teams to deliver data-driven insights and technical solutions to meet strategic needs in challenging and uncertain environments.Currently building software that strives to transformationally changes how businesses operate.Prior to VMware, I built a new business unit within the Joint Special Operations Command that rapidly delivered software solutions that leverage data to optimize how they plan, track, and report their operations.Prior to JSOC, I led an operations research team at the Army’s premier analysis center that was skilled at conducting and communicating complex analysis to inform strategic level DoD initiatives, decisions, and strategies. I was also the Deputy Director of a NATO assessment group in Afghanistan that delivered statistical data analysis which influenced a Presidential and NATO Ministerial decision to shift war strategy.Prior, I developed future Army leaders through teaching mathematical modeling and differential calculus at the United States Military Academy at West Point. I was a course director that infused technology to improve learning, curiosity, and student productivity. Prior to West Point, I built, transformed, and led infantry organizations that trained, deployed, and fought in combat. I am motivated to:1.
