Dr. Aaron Cohen-Gadol (Cohen) has been recognized internationally for his extensive experience with surgeries of complex brain tumors, pituitary and skull base tumors, aneurysms, and arteriovenous malformations. Dr. Cohen is the president and the founder of Atlas Meditech and the Neurosurgical Atlas (Atlas). He is also the president of the ATLAS Institute of Brain & Spine at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. He is the recipient of the Vilhelm Magnus medal, referred to as the \"Nobel prize in neurosurgery,\" from the Scandinavian Neurosurgical Association, for his innovative and pioneering efforts in advancing neurosurgical techniques and outcomes worldwide.The Atlas reflects the surgical experience of Dr. Cohen with more than 7500 complex brain operations over 16 years. Since its start in 2016, the Atlas has served over national and international neurosurgeons/trainees and an average of viewers per day.
