With over a decade of experience in Renewable Energy I have specialized in Wind Turbine Powertrain Systems & general reliability improvements. I am a self-motivated, pragmatic engineer with a broad range of experience in team leadership, people and project management, root cause analysis, solution development, and design engineering. I have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with experience working with and presenting to multiple levels of a global organization and end customers. A Mechanical Engineer by trade, I have extensive experience in running root cause analysis and designing and implementing improvements through the use of DMAIC and 8D methodologies. I led and managed a team of international engineers focused on the development of repair solutions that lower the financial impact of component failures and prevent them from occurring in the future as well as addressing numerous safety related issues. Additionally, I developed and managed a portfolio of projects with significant impact on cost reductions and aftermarket sales opportunities. I also set design requirements for service and maintenance for new products and developed and carried out various training programs related to turbine component diagnostics and process.
