A Business Performance Manager in the R&D Strategy and Operations team enabling the implementation of multiple R&D strategic efforts by applying project and change management methodology and expertise across a variety of key initiatives, work-streams and teams with accountability for advancing R&D’s transformation efforts. Partners with R&D team and functional leads and other organizations to support human capital and social justice initiatives, prioritized staffing/organizational initiatives, and other ways of working initiatives Collaborates with functional leaders, initiative/work-stream leadership, cross-functional teams, and external vendors to drive development and delivery of a robust change management capability within R&D Independently manages projects, timelines and team resources; operationally support the R&D Resource Management, and RISE team according to Amgen’s change methodology; mitigate risks, remove roadblocks, raise issues and problem-solve Serves as an integrator across multiple R&D, HR, Corporate Affairs and other functions and transformation efforts; build and maintain positive relationships with partners Provides support using Amgen Transformation methodologies appropriate for the objective, including Agile, Change Management, Solution Development, Implementation and Sustainment, Workshop Facilitation, and Continuous Improvement Adapts to a regularly evolving, fast-paced and often ambiguous environment
