   For the spring 2023 semester, Aaron is co-teaching the independent capstone studio for the Masters of Real Estate Design and Development program with his friend and colleague Brynn McKiernan! Our 15 amazing students are all exploring a different focus of best practice in development and city design throughout the semester, culminating in an open presentation and reception with industry experts in San Francisco May 9. Students are exploring a range of research topics including market rate and affordable housing, project location in America and around the world, and a number of real-world projects actually going through the development process. In previous years, Aaron has served as faculty in other CED programs, and he can be found pitching in on student reviews, desk crits, and student mentoring in various planning, urban design, and real estate classes at Cal. He learns as much from his students as they do from him!
