A senior structural engineer with several years of industry experience, with chartered status via the IMechE. Main areas of expertise include- Structural Engineering (within a major UK North Sea Operator)- Project, Logistics & Financial Management (Structural scopes)- Structural Integrity Management (SIM)- Anomaly Management Procedures- Risk Based Inspections - Offshore & Onshore Structural GVI Site Inspection- Tendering Activities & Bid Team Management - Proposal & Pre Tendering ActivitiesI joined Atkins (now Kent) as a Graduate Civil Engineer in the Energy (Oil and Gas) Sector in September 2018, having graduated from the University of Strathclyde with a MEng Civil Engineering that same year. Additionally, I attended Instituto Superior Tecnico in Lisbon, Portugal during the period of obtaining my degree. I have acquired a number of transferable skills throughout my education/career which include a hard-working attitude, an ability to effectively cooperate and communicate within a team environment, an ability to quickly adapt to the task in hand as well as pick up new skills. I believe these skills allow me to be an effective asset in any working environment, having been enhanced by not only the experience from my academic career but my external interests and the multitude of sporting activities I participate in. I obtained CEng status with IMechE in February 2025.
