Aaron Reid is a Chartered Surveyor in the Technical Due Diligence (TDD) Team at CBRE, based in London. Aaron specialises in providing commercially focused technical due diligence advice across the UK, EMEA and APAC for a variety of building types and clients. Aaron has experience co-ordinating and delivering Technical Due Diligence for cross-border portfolio and platform transactions as well as single-asset marquee instructions. Aaron sits on the CBRE UK and Ireland Technical Due Diligence Best Practice Group, covering processes, procedures, governance and quality of the CBRE Technical Due Diligence services.Aaron joined CBRE in 2018 having graduated with a First-Class Honours degree in Building Surveying from the University of Reading, UK. Aaron is also an Affiliate Member of the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment. Key Transactions- Advised MARK on the sale of the initial Crossbay assets to Prologis for €1.6bn (2022). The portfolio comprised over 100 urban logistic assets across seven countries- Supported Arcus Infrastructure Partners LLP on their divestment in Constellation Cold Logistics (2024) by providing Technical Due Diligence for the portfolio of cold storage facilities across seven countries in Western Europe and the Nordics- Advised on the landmark sale of the listed Irish based property group, Green REIT to Henderson Park Real Estate Management for €1.34bn (2019). This represented the largest ever transaction in the Irish real estate market and is the first time a REIT had put itself up for sale- Provided the Technical Due Diligence to support the sale of the Selfridges Group, including the iconic Oxford Street store in Central London (2021)- Advised Allianz Real Estate on forming a joint venture with Aviva Investors to develop two Grade-A, prime office buildings in the City of London with a GDV of approximately £500million (2021)- Advised on disposals and acquisitions in the London office market with a cumulative transactional value of over £1.5bn (various).
