I am able to maintain strong communication with other necessary members in the supply chain group to acquire material which includes contacting vendors, determining time frame of delivery, achieve best costs, and determine most effective method of delivery, provided management with up-to-date material status reports. • I can read production schedules, inventory reports plus work orders to define type and quantity of materials required, availability of stock plus order priority from management in order to meet the production requirements. • I distribute material to specified production areas using trucks (light-weight vehicles). Inspected vehicles prior to use and kept necessary logs of vehicle maintenance in regards to oil levels, fuel levels, tire pressure, brakes and cleanliness. I ensure that the right method of delivery is used for the materials in regards to size, weight and height of the materials needed. • I am required to record and maintain perpetual inventory of quantity plus type of materials parts received, stocked, and distributed, manually or using ICS with bar code scanning capabilities. I Use email and verbal requests from management to satisfy requests of materials for the production facility. I keep proper record keeping of inventory for accuracy and accountability.
