About Aaron Palean

I have over 10 years of experience in materiel management between active service and air national guard. In the United States Air Force, I supported the streamlining of communication with Item and Program Managers, efficiently addressing and fulfilling Bomber aircraft Maintenance Groups’ requirements, effectively decreasing turnaround time for repairable parts at the depot. I then prioritized and resolved Mission Impaired Capability Awaiting Parts (MICAP) issues, ensuring timely identification and acquisition of critical components, minimizing downtime to maintain operational readiness. In the California Air National Guard, I served as a Materiel Manager and Quality Assurance Evaluator where I executed evaluations and audits to ensure the materiel support of maintenance and operation of aircraft and equipment follow regulatory and procedural requirements. I leveraged my data acquisition and analysis, communication, and continuous improvement skills to enhance the performance and safety of the Air Force\'s assets. I also hold an Associate\'s Degree in Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management from the Community College of the Air Force.My passion for innovation and problem-solving in the aerospace industry led me to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from California State University of Long Beach, where I graduated in December 2023. During my studies, I interned at Howmet Aerospace and Terran Orbital, where I played a crucial role in designing mechanical components and structures for robotic systems. I thrived in an Agile Development environment, creating 3D models, simulations, and prototypes while collaborating closely with electrical engineers to integrate sensors and electronics into the robot\'s structure.
