ABOUT AARON NYSTEDT

I am a Board Certified Behavior Analyst who is currently practicing in the San Francisco Bay area. I received my master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from St. Cloud State University in St. Cloud, MN and have over 10 years of experience implementing Applied Behavior Analytic (ABA) methodologies to various populations. My experience includes providing services to children in center-based, in-home, school based settings, and adults in group-home and vocational settings. I’ve served over 80 individuals with varying degrees of cognitive functioning and ranging from 18 months to 78 years of age. Services I’ve provided have included conducting both indirect and direct functional behavior assessment, assessment of language and social skills, behavior support plan development, training development, staff training, and parent training. I’ve previously been published as an author for peer-reviewed journals such as Journal of Applied Behavior Analysis and Behavioral Interventions. I’ve also previously won poster presentation awards and have attended a variety of behavior analytic international and state conferences. I believe it is important to continue to learn about the evolution of the field of ABA through continued attendance of conferences and trainings. During my personal time I enjoy spending time with my family and friends; along with listening and performing music. I am also an avid Minnesota sports fan.
