As Director, I spearhead the development and promotion of durable, bipartisan policy solutions to ensure secure, accessible, and trustworthy elections. I lead the Elections Project\'s state legislative engagement efforts, collaborating closely with state associations of election officials, committees, and legal counsels, in coordination with partners like Radburn Law and CAI- My responsibilities include guiding exploratory research into state associations and committees, maintaining and nurturing relationships with these entities, and providing them with policy guidance and legislative support as needed. I execute state advocacy initiatives for the Elections Project and assist in setting strategic goals and establishing work plans related to election activities- I also oversee the development and facilitation of internal and external meetings, tools, and support for vendors. In my role, I represent the Elections Project and its policy priorities to a broad and diverse audience, ensuring productive interactions with communications, development, and tech teams. I also develop and maintain a network of key stakeholders, including election administrators, peer organizations, management companies, and board representatives- My role involves significant travel, approximately 20% of the time, to engage directly with stakeholders and advance our mission.
