ABOUT AARON MULFORD

I am a highly skilled, motivated, passionate and hard worker in the insurance claims profession with particular expertise in PI, FI, D&O and Cyber claims.I am currently working as a Cyber claims adjuster at CFC. I have experience of dealing with a variety of different first and third party covers under Cyber policies including: Cyber crime, ransomware, business interruption and data breach. The role is focused on assisting clients as quickly and efficiently as possible, given the urgency involved in these circumstances. I am also experienced in dealing with the various stakeholders involved in the cyber claims process including: insureds, brokers, underwriters, lawyers, forensic accounts and loss adjusters.In my previous positions as a claims adjuster in the PI/FI/D&O sectors I acted for and liaised with insurers on a broad range of insurance products for professional firms, including financial advisors, fund managers, property managers, accountants, engineers, architects and design and build contractors in a number of domestic and international legal jurisdictions. My colleagues relied on me to proficiently handle the claims assigned to me. Through my experience as well as my Master’s Degree in Insurance Law and Bachelor’s Degree in Law I have gained an extensive knowledge of a vast array of financial products, as well as tax, finance and insurance law. In a field where good client relationships are crucial, I have impeccable people skills and am an expert at handling the delicacies of client relations. I have also passed the IAU Professional Indemnity Forum test. Law is a subject that I am also passionate about outside of work. I have attended a number of legal seminars on several different subjects, such as the recent Insurance Act and pension reform, and constantly keep up to date with the latest news on these and other legal subjects. At the University of Southampton, I co-edited the Legal Matters journal and was the Secretary of the University of Southampton Debating Society.
