For me, “learning never stops” isn’t a quote—it’s a promise to kids and families in Colorado’s San Luis Valley. At Boys & Girls Clubs of the San Luis Valley, I’ve helped grow a small team into an 8-site, region-wide network that pairs great after-school programs with career pathways, early learning, and whole-family support.Highlights I’m proud of:Growth & scale: Expanded to 8 locations while increasing annual revenue and staffing to serve more youth across rural communities.Capital & innovation: Leading the Early Care & Learning Center project and multi-source capital stack (including NMTC) to solve childcare shortages and unlock workforce participation.Workforce pathways: Built the WBL Launchpad and partner network so teens earn credentials, internships, and first paychecks close to home.Community navigation: Launched a resource navigation program now making 250+ youth & family connections each year for basic needs and stability.Recognition: Honored with BGCA’s Jim Wetherington Southwesterner Award for regional leadership and innovation, and Adams State’s Educator Highlight Award. I collaborate with cities, schools, public health, higher ed, and employers to turn silos into systems.
