About Aaron Berg

With a foundation in finance and accounting from the University of Tulsa, my career has been shaped by a willingness to say “yes” to challenges I didn’t feel fully equipped to handle. Over the past two decades, I’ve discovered that God most frequently creates growth opportunities through trials—and I’ve experienced His faithfulness firsthand when I follow His lead.At Vega Energy Partners, I helped build and lead a midstream natural gas trading and asset development company—progressing from analyst to President. I guided the company through seasons of complexity and growth, leading strategic transactions, building operational infrastructure, and cultivating a healthy, high-performing team. After our sale to Six One Commodities, I became Chief Operating Officer and led the integration of legacy Vega operations across four global offices.Following a sabbatical, I joined Wise Rock, a venture built around the question: What does it look like to build a business fully submitted to God? We pioneered a redemptive structure—donating 99.9% of our equity to a Christian nonprofit—and raised nearly $10 million in mission-aligned capital to build a modern SaaS company. As COO, I led the company through >10x growth in revenue and valuation, negotiated multi-million-dollar SaaS contracts with energy supermajors, and helped architect the systems, culture, and strategy needed to scale with integrity.Now, I am at Arc57, excited to help build new businesses in and around the energy industry.Through these experiences, I’ve come to see where I thrive: I’m not the idea spark or the closer—I come alive in the middle 80%, when vision needs structure, people need alignment, and systems need to be built. My Zone of Genius lies in translating purpose into process, designing scalable operations, and bringing order to complexity. I help turn inspiration into infrastructure and ensure good ideas become enduring realities.Psalm 16:6 sums up my journey: “The boundary lines have fallen for me in pleasant places; surely I have a delightful inheritance.” I view my career as a stewardship of opportunities God has graciously given—seeking to build things that matter, with people who care, for purposes that last.Outside of work, my wife Natosha and I are raising three young boys to live with courage, humility, and wonder. I coach their soccer teams and the middle school cross country team at Trinity Classical School. I’m also a competitive runner and a community-builder through the Night Heron Running Club, where sport, mentorship, and apprenticeship to Jesus intersect.
