About Aaron Lewis

I am an experienced UCaaS and CCaaS sales professional with over a decade of experience in the UCC industry. My journey into Sales began while I was a full-time college student working part-time as an operator at a call center. Unsure of my plans post-graduation, I continued working at the call center and fortunately was able to climb the ranks to Customer Service, Client Services, and eventually joined the Sales team as a Global Account Manager. As a customer service agent, I discovered I had a natural ability to sell. With that being said, I began investing in my sales skills by purchasing sales books and watching educational videos on selling. The most impactful book I have read on the subject is a NYT Best Seller by Stephan Schiffman - “Selling When No One Is Buying”. This book taught me how having a positive mindset impacts your success not only in Sales but in life. Sales was actually a new component within the customer service role when I was hired, and I was willing to do whatever had to be done in order to provide for my family. Over time, it became more about the fulfillment of helping businesses transform their communications strategy to improve efficiency while also reducing costs. The opportunity to work with clients, understand their existing solutions, and guide them through a transition is a rewarding feeling I will never get tired of. I attribute my success to my competitive spirit. Closing deals not only gave me a sense of value and confidence, but it also allowed me to thrive personally. As I\'ve grown in Sales, I have developed strategies that have improved my ability to qualify real opportunities and reduce static to achieve targets. Currently, I am working as the Alumni Relations Director at my Alma Mater, utilizing my experience as an Account Manager to raise funds, strengthen relationships between our alumni and current students. Also, I am facilitating strategies to improve our current data to increase alumni engagement and contributions. Aside from work, I am independently studying for my A+ Certification to deepen my knowledge and understanding of IT as a whole. Tech is my passion and I see myself involved in some aspect in the future.
