ABOUT AARON LEES

Operations Manager at 53°North Group, leading the delivery of high-quality asset care solutions across the UK. My journey began in my dad’s garage, taking apart motorbikes and building a fascination with how things work. By 16, I was working in a plastic vacuum forming factory where I not only operated machinery but was trusted with its maintenance. I later moved into injection moulding and pad printing, expanding my engineering skills through hands-on experience and mentorship.At 24, I began a Mechanical & Electrical apprenticeship at a nutraceutical manufacturer, gaining skills in electrical installation, fabrication, plastic and metal welding, general maintenance, and project planning focused on improving efficiency. In 2018, I joined 53°North Group, where I trained in condition-based monitoring and became CAT I and CAT II certified in vibration analysis within my first year. My passion, dedication, and consistent client feedback led to promotions from Senior Analyst to Asset Manager, and now Operations Manager.In my current role, I’m responsible for developing our team, improving internal systems, and strengthening relationships with our clients across key industries. These include food & beverage (meat, fish, dairy, grain, bakery, confectionery, etc.), heavy industry (cement, foundry, pulp, paper), and chemical processing. 53°North delivers unique reliability services using advanced tools such as vibration analysis, laser alignment, ultrasonic inspection, thermal imaging (mechanical & electrical), field balancing, high-speed data capture, continuous monitoring, and more—all supported by our Analysis Support Centre.I’m proud to be part of a team that genuinely cares about customer outcomes and industry advancement. My goal is to continue building on this momentum to help grow the company, develop talent, and raise standards across the reliability sector.
