I have over twenty years of experience working in public health surveillance/biosurveillance at the local government, state government, in research and development, and federal levels. Expertise includes leading the implementation of disease surveillance systems, integration of data sources for comprehensive health surveillance and in support of early event detection, ongoing management and analysis of disease surveillance data, coordination of technical development team with the needs of applied epidemiologists using operational systems, and developing descriptive and analytic products to improve routine disease surveillance practice.
