ABOUT AARON K. NISLEY
As the Chief Strategy Officer at VA Eastern Colorado Health Care System, I oversee the planning, development, and implementation of strategic initiatives and operational improvements for the largest integrated health care system in the region. I have an MBA with a focus on finance and investments, MPH with a focus in health policy and management, and certified in Lean Six Sigma that demonstrates my proficiency in process improvement methods and tools. With over 15 years of experience in hospital and healthcare administration, I have successfully managed both inpatient and outpatient care delivery settings in the military, academic, and federal sectors. I have a passion for turning around the business and starting up new ones, as evidenced by my project management of a new hospital startup, multiple new multispecialty medical office startups, and timely access-to-care improvements for various medical and surgical practices. I have also achieved significant results in improving clinic flow and operations, increasing patient satisfaction, and enhancing financial performance and compliance for acute care and medical office settings. My goal is to leverage my skills and expertise to advance the mission and vision of VA Eastern Colorado and to provide high-quality care and service to our Veterans and their families.
