About Aaron Jordan

Senior operations and program leader with 20+ years of experience guiding complex teams, systems, and projects in high-consequence environments. I’ve led organizations of up to 120 people, supported readiness for 60+ units a year, and managed major repair and improvement efforts where safety, reliability, and timelines all mattered equally. Whether it’s a facility, fleet, training program, or critical infrastructure, I’m known for bringing structure, accountability, and calm ownership to demanding work.I’m at my best when the mission is important and the moving parts are many. I turn unclear goals into clear plans, align maintenance and operations so they work with each other instead of against each other, and give teams the tools and expectations they need to deliver consistent results. I take details seriously—schedules, resources, handoffs, documentation, audits—but I never forget there are real people doing the work. Colleagues know me as direct, prepared, and steady: I listen, I explain the “why,” I protect the team from chaos, and I hold us to a high standard without drama. My experience sits at the intersection of operations management, program and project management, maintenance and reliability, safety and compliance, and training and development. I’ve built and led large-scale training and assessment programs, overseen complex engineering and facilities-style systems, worked extensively in secure DoD environments, and partnered across leadership, technical, and front-line roles to make change stick. I hold an active DoD Secret clearance (prior TS/SCI), am pursuing my PMP (exam 12/11), and am an MBA candidate at CSUMB—intentionally combining practical leadership with strong business and project discipline.I’m interested in opportunities where thoughtful leadership, operational rigor, and trust matter: operations and maintenance leadership, facilities and infrastructure management, safety and training roles, and program management supporting technical, public-sector, or mission-driven organizations. If you’re building or strengthening a team and need someone who can own the work, elevate people, and improve systems in a grounded, measurable way, I’d be glad to connect.
