ABOUT AARON HINTON

With over 16 years of experience in the US Air Force, I am a seasoned leader and manager with a passion for innovation, project management, organizational development and employee training. My mission is to ensure the continuous development my squadrons\' knowledge, skills, and abilities, and to drive operational efficiency and excellence across our teams and projects. I have a strong background in business administration, management, operations, and innovation. I possess a Bachelors Degree in Human Resources/Personnel Management from the University of Maryland Global Campus and am currently pursuing my MBA at Boston University with a graduation date of May 2024. I also have honed my continuous process improvement and innovation skills by acquiring the Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and are pursuing my Black Belt. Furthermore, I am also an accomplished project manager and possess the Certified Project Officer Certification.As a Section Chief, I lead a team of 190 professionals across 6 distinct sections and multiple project teams. My primary responsibility is to oversee the training and course scheduling for 800 students annually, and to ensure the successful completion of 225 C-17/KC-46/KC-10 courses by 34 employees. I also partner with worldwide agencies to identify and recruit potential candidates, and to implement innovative solutions to close the training and performance gap. I leverage my skills in operations management, lean six sigma, and business administration to implement innovative processes, training methods, and products that reduce inefficiencies and enhance our mission\'s success rate.
