About Aaron Hartman
Numerous fracture trace analysis, resistivity geophysical surveys, stream gauging, and sinkhole mapping in order to identify source water protection areas for a major municipality in Central Pennsylvania. Extensive experience overseeing drilling and designing and constructing supply, observation, and monitoring wells in a variety of geologic settings (hard rock, karst, unconsolidated) using direct push, auger, air rotary, mud, dual rotary, cable tool, and reverse circulation techniques. Locating, drilling, design, and construction of supply and observation wells for a large scale water supply project in Trinidad, West Indies. In addition, designed, performed, and analyzed long term pumping tests and collected and performed particle size analysis of unconsolidated sediment for the same project. Oversight of drilling and long term constant rate pumping test of a 1,200 GPM source well for a large industrial facility in Virginia. Designed, performed, and analyzed 8-hour step and 24-hour constant rate pump tests for characterizing numerous gasoline contaminated facilities in Pennsylvania. Author of numerous site characterization, remedial action plan, site monitoring/O&M, and remedial action closure reports using statewide health, site specific, and background standards for projects in Pennsylvania. Design and installation oversight of numerous monitoring wells and remediation points at sites in Virginia, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Ohio, and New York. Oversight and installation of two horizontal wells using horizontal drilling techniques at a former industrial site located in Long Beach, California. Installation, operation, and maintenance of soil vapor extraction, dual-phase extraction, pump and treat, and bioremediation systems at state-regulated sites in Pennsylvania. Included system pilot testing and quarterly reporting.
