ABOUT AARON GULLEY

I’m the Technical Lead for the Audiotonix ERP team, responsible for all of the custom development and technical delivery across Epicor. In reality though, my role goes well beyond just the technical side. I support the team day to day, help shape requirements, and get involved across operations, manufacturing, sales and finance to make sure everything we build actually works in practice. Most of my work is very hands-on. I spend a lot of time designing and refining solutions, whether that’s improving performance, automating processes, or solving the kind of edge cases that tend to get overlooked. I’m known for being detail-focused and persistent, sometimes to the point of over engineering, but it comes from wanting things to be solid, scalable and right first time. I work across multiple companies within the group, so I’m used to dealing with complexity, whether that’s data synchronisation, intercompany processes or making sure reporting and systems behave consistently across different setups. Alongside that, I’m often bridging the gap between technical and functional, helping translate what the business needs into something that can actually be delivered. Finance isn’t my strongest area, but I understand enough to support it properly and make sure nothing breaks downstream. Like most things, I’ll pick it up where needed. I enjoy the variety of the role. One minute I’m deep in SQL or C#, the next I’m helping someone on the shop floor or working through a process with finance. At the core of it, I’m focused on making systems better, simpler and more reliable, and making sure what we deliver genuinely adds value to the business.
