Yonge North Subway Extension (YNSE): As Systems Director on the Technical Advisor side for Metrolinx, responsible for all systems disciplines for the extension including Track, Traction Power, Signals, Subway Ventilation, Rail Operation Simulations, Tunnel Fit-out and Communications. Work included development and management of the full project requirements and conceptual design. Responsible to ensure the fixed block signaling, associated traction power, track and Ventilation, are suitable for future expansion for Communications Based Train Control (CBTC), which was proven through simulation modelling. Also responsible for interface and integration aspects as well as stakeholder management. Worked with on the boarded contractor as part of progressive design to review all submission and ensure compliance to the requirements.
