1. Director of Data Reliability Engineering (Data Operations Transformation)

   I was brought into Integra Connect to transform a traditional Data Operations function into a modern Data Reliability Engineering organization capable of supporting large-scale clinical and claims ecosystems. I inherited a team responsible for ingesting 50+ data sources covering ~15+ years of history.Since joining, I’ve focused on building foundational reliability practices, improving data quality, modernizing pipelines, and accelerating onboarding speed to drive measurable business value for our clinical operations and pharma-facing products.Key Accomplishments:Established modern engineering fundamentals by implementing standardized CI/CD, metadata capture across 50+ data sources, centralized logging, and unified monitoring.Implemented three end-to-end production data monitoring processes, enabling upstream issue detection and significantly improving data reliability and transparency.Designed and deployed a comprehensive Data Profiling framework, surfacing anomalies at both the dataset and field level to support ClinOps, Governance, PopHealth, PQ, and DevOps.Designed a Data Validation engine applying business logic to every incoming data point, enabling proactive remediation before issues impact downstream systems or customers.Standardized ingestion into generalized pipelines, improving onboarding speed from 1 practice every 40 days → 18 practices in 53 days, accelerating revenue recognition and product readiness.Shifted the organization from reactive to proactive by surfacing root-cause data quality issues earlier, building trust across stakeholders, and exposing previously invisible upstream data problems.Helped establish the Data Decisions group, a cross-functional forum (ClinOps, Governance, PQ, PopHealth) to drive transparent, aligned, and scalable solutions to data quality challenges.Introduced the principles of Data as a Product, elevating data reliability, ownership, and cross-team accountability throughout the organization.
