In my current role here at Schneider Electric, I am responsible for preparing an Engineer to Order manufacturing plant for a SAP integration. Through previous deployments, the company has found that specific metrics in the Schneider Performance System (SPS) lead to a smoother integration for the site. My responsibilities include creating a Plan for Every Part (PFEP) for the site, create work time definitions using Motion Time Methods (MTM), and data cleansing activities focused in warehouse operations. Highlights: • Creating a Plan for Every Part (PFEP) to reduce lineside inventory • Measuring processes in three different ETO production lines using MTM UAS to create standard manufacturing times for proper financial costing • Providing data cleansing support for current ERP system to prepare for SAP integration • Creating new line flows to reduce WIP and rework for late customer engineering changes
