Aaron is a Technical Principal in Engineering Geology at WSP. He is based in the Auckland office Geotechnical and Tunnels group.Aaron\'s role is to provide technical leadership to engineering geologists within the company. Lead engineering geology teams for technically demanding and/or major projects. Grow the engineering geology capability of WSP. Contribute to the technical capability and development of engineering geology in WSP internationally. Contribute to the success of the business through providing specialist technical advice to projects.Aaron\'s technical specialties include:Engineering geology - development of geological models, mapping and identification of natural hazards and application of geological principles to engineering design.Terrain evaluation - assessment of aerial photography and mapping of geomorphic features identifying how terrain may impact on engineering development and assessing the associated risk.Geotechnical assessment design and investigation - assessment of geotechnical constraints associated with engineering projects and development of design mitigation solutions, including scoping and supervision of geotechnical investigation and testing.
