ABOUT AARON GARCIA

I am an agile, trusted, quality driven business advisor providing risk and controls advice and assurance to companies operating in the Technology, Media, and Telecommunication industries. I lead teams supporting both audit and non-audit clients of PwC, delivering quality advice and assessments, solving difficult problems.I have an extensive range of capabilities in the finance, accounting, compliance, and IT space allowing me to understand the various needs and complex interactions facing my clients.I lead teams that design, implement, and/or assess companies’ systems of internal controls, including information technology controls. I have experience serving clients in the technology, communications, life sciences, entertainment, and consumer products industries. I am a recognized leader in the risk and controls space. I was a principal contributor to the 2013 update of the Internal Control - Integrated Framework issued by the Committee of Sponsoring Organizations of the Treadway Commission (COSO). I was the Project Lead Director for the Internal Control over External Financial Reporting: A Compendium of Approaches and Examples document that was released concurrently with the Framework. Lastly, and most importantly, I am a husband and father to FOUR wonderful children. My four kids are my world, and nothing brings me more joy than watching them on the pitch, in the pool, on the court, on the diamond, on the stage.wherever they are performing and giving it their all. I am very active in their youth athletics as well as at our Church and School community.
