   As a Senior DevOps Engineer on the Cloud Platform team, I lead large-scale automation and modernization initiatives that power SkyTouch’s cloud ecosystem. My focus is delivering reliability, scalability, and speed across multi-account AWS environments through infrastructure as code, CI/CD orchestration, and deep collaboration with development and operations teams.I designed and implemented the full AMI lifecycle pipeline, from image creation in AWS Image Builder to environment-wide rollout via Jenkins-driven instance refreshes. The pipeline ensures 100% uptime through blue-green deployment strategies, health validation, automated rollback, and Slack-integrated notifications for release transparency. Each AMI undergoes authenticated scanning and compliance checks before promotion, enabling consistent and secure releases across the organization.In parallel, I rearchitected the internal APT mirror infrastructure using Amazon EFS to deliver a high-availability, environment-partitioned design for Ubuntu and Amazon Linux updates. The new configuration introduced separate non-production and production mirrors, EFS-backed synchronization, and Apache virtual hosts to ensure operational integrity and version control. This eliminated update drift, reduced storage duplication, and improved reliability of internal package distribution.Beyond engineering delivery, I lead the team on major project initiatives defining the next generation of our platform, coordinating architecture reviews, guiding technical direction, and aligning automation, security, and operational priorities. I establish reusable CloudFormation patterns, enforce consistency through Ansible automation, and partner with QA and security under a shared reliability framework.By focusing on observability, automation, and cultural alignment, I help drive Cloud Platform’s mission to enable speed without sacrificing stability, transforming complex infrastructure into repeatable, auditable, and trusted systems.
