ABOUT AARON FRITCHLEY

I am a hard working fourth-year student in the Terry College of Business at the University of Georgia. I am actively pursuing a BBA in Management Information Systems with an area of emphasis in both Data Analytics along with a minor in Agribusiness. I plan on pursuing a Master’s degree in Business Analytics at the conclusion of my undergraduate studies. Throughout my MIS tenure, I have focused on Business Process Management best practices and utilized Signavio for process modeling. Additionally, my coursework in Project Management has been an insightful tool to understand how business is conducted beyond College, including collaborating with companies to enhance brand awareness and explore new business avenues, contributing substantially to organizational expansion. I have developed proficiency in an array of technical skills encompassing numerous levels of business. I have accrued advanced knowledge in database construction and management through MySQL, and learned how to masterfully visualize this data through Data Visualization platforms such as Tableau. I\'ve gained a strong understanding of wrangling and manipulating data through R, and discovered a personal niche in Cloud Computing, having experience with Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure. To tie these together, I have gained a robust understanding of high-level programming through Java. I am committed to further my knowledge of technology, and to discover new techniques to add business value with my skills. Beyond academics, I have assumed leadership roles within Chi Psi Fraternity, serving on the Executive Board in varying capacities as Recruitment Chair, Treasurer, and currently, as President. These positions have honed my interpersonal communication skills and fostered adaptability, attributes that will be valuable in my future career as both a businessman and a young leader. I was also able to spend my Summer as an Operations Intern as Schneider National, where I navigated a broad network of Intermodal Truck Drivers and Shipments, and look forward to beginning my Digital Data Internship with TK Elevator and the conclusion of this academic year.
