I currently work as a health and safety advisor and trainer for GTG. I deliver numerous different topics to our clients such as IOSH Managing Safely, First Aid, Fire Warden, Confined Space Awareness, Working at Height Awareness, COSHH and tailored courses to specific industries. My passion for health and safety developed when I was working as a lifeguard in the leisure industry and took on the role as the health and safety representative. I then progressed to a duty supervisor and six months later was successful in my application as a duty manager where I took on the responsibilities of health and safety for the site. As I took on more health and safety responsibilities I realised that this was the career path I wanted to embark on.
