Provide on-site drilling engineering support to operations to ensure delivery of the well objectives. Act as day tour MPD advisor while drilling with MPD.HSE- Provide leadership to ensure the health and safety of all personnel and the protection of the environment- Support the Drilling Supervisor in complying with HSE expectations- Support the Engineering Supervisor and the Rig Team in achieving HSE targets- Identify/assess HSE and operational risks, develop contingency plans to mitigate same- Coordinate rig site training effortsOperations- General technical support of operations- Modeling- Torque and Drag - Hydraulics - MPD - Tripping schedules- Detailed Procedure of Upcoming Section - Tour Plans (presented at Pre-Tours)- Drilling Practices (ROP, pump rates, connection practices/solids control)- Well Forecasting Timeline: 3 Day, Week, End of Hole Section - Logistics- Management of rig site data- Monitor operations and analyze performance- Ensure well operations are executed in accordance with approved plans- Prepare post operational summary with particular emphasis on capturing lessons learned on section basis- Coordinate, supervise, and critique service company activities - Rig Efficiency / Margin Improvement - Communication- Train rig crew in MPD practices and operation of MPD equipment- Perform all engineering and modeling required for drilling with MPDPlanning- QC well plans generated by Drilling Engineer- Support multi-discipline team to Develop work procedures meeting well objectives and comply with policies and regulations- Assess risk in well planning and operations and develop contingency plans- Ensure Section Plans reflect current well conditions
