About Aaron Dimick
With nearly two decades of experience, I am a tested, well-rounded and savvy communications professional. Leading communications as Public Information Officer for the City of Jackson, Michigan has added to my robust background in media. I previously worked in the television news business as a reporter, producer, and anchor. Advocating for the community is also a passion of mine. In recent years, I have dedicated my volunteer time to improving local parks and trails, advising the local Chamber of Commerce on community events, helping people with a mental health diagnosis find employment, and providing affordable recreation programs for youth and seniors. My community leadership has brought several awards that I am very proud of-Jackson Human Relations Commission Award for Outstanding Volunteer Service, Sept. 2024 -Leadership Jackson Alumni of the Year Award, April 2024 -Fox 47 News Neighborhood Hero of the Week, Aug. 2022 A Michigan native, I am happy to call the Mitten State my home! When I am not working or volunteering, I enjoy adventures with my husband, collecting music, endurance sports, spending time with my large extended family, reading, building community and learning how to play the electric organ.
