One of the great pleasures of being involved in the tree industry for over 14 years and owning a business for 10 years is the opportunity to see the industry from multiple different angles. I began as many do, as a groundsperson for a major outfit. Then launched into the whole world of tree climbing. Then launched into the multifaceted world of running a business including acquiring equipment, hiring and motivating a team, and performing sales appointments to many hundreds of clients. It is a joy, one that has created many opportunities to understand the industry as a whole. More recently, my work involves writing about the tree service industry from a 9,144m for those of us here in Canada).
