As an IT Audit & Assurance Assistant Manager at Deloitte, I leverage my expertise to evaluate the robustness of technological controls implemented by our clients. Collaborating with a diverse, UK-wide team, I engage in a range of activities, including testing change management protocols, access provisioning procedures, and automated controls. This ensures the integrity and security of their applications and IT infrastructure. When control deficiencies arise, I collaborate with our management team to assess the potential risk to our audit, explore mitigation strategies, and determine the impact on our audit approach if deficiencies persist.My First-Class Honours degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Strathclyde provided a solid foundation for my pursuit of the ACA qualification with the ICAEW. As a part-qualified accountant, I am committed to expanding my knowledge and expertise in accordance with the institute\'s high standards.Prior to Deloitte, my experience as a Payroll/Accounts Administrator within the construction industry allowed me to hone my skills in utilising accounting software such as Xero and Dext. My responsibilities included managing invoices, processing payroll, reconciling bank accounts, and liaising with suppliers.I am a highly motivated and results-oriented professional with a strong work ethic and a dedication to delivering exceptional client service. My ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences, coupled with my analytical and problem-solving skills, enables me to excel in demanding environments.
