The Sportsmen’s Alliance Foundation protects and defends America’s wildlife and habitat conservation efforts and the pursuits that generate the funds for these programs and initiatives. The Sportsmen’s Alliance Foundation is responsible for the national education, legal defense and research that supports the North American Model of Wildlife Conservation. Our mission is accomplished through several distinct programs coordinated to provide the most complete public support possible. We actively engage state and federal elected officials to represent We The People and NOT special interest groups. Additionally, when necessary, we engage the state and federal court systems to protect these rights and the rights of ALL who engage in the support of these conservation efforts. At our core, we are an organization that exists to protect one sector of our liberties, guaranteed by our Nation\'s Constitution. Educating current and future generations of our National outdoor heritage, established and protected by individuals like Theodore Roosevelt, Aldo Leopold, Mardy Murie, Robert Marshall, Rachel Carson, Olaus Murie, John Muir, David Abercrombie, Ezra Fitch, and many others, is a core value and defining principle of our mission.

ABOUT AARON CARMICHAEL

I have an extensive and distinguished career in nonprofit leadership and youth and family services. I have worked with local, national and international organizations at the executive-level. I am a compassionate, passionate, driven nonprofit professional with a heart for the most vulnerable. As a child of poverty, first generation college graduate, and advocate for \"the least of these,\" my relentless focus on providing a platform of opportunity for everyone is unmatched. Having raised significant public and private gifts, I am also known for presenting and publishing in all areas of board leadership, nonprofit leadership, and fund development as well as child/adolescent development and family issues. I have worked with many nonprofits in building active and effective development teams, cultivated and trained committed, vibrant boards and coached/mentored numerous executive level leaders. I have participated on nonprofit conference panel discussions, led workshops across the US and Europe, conducted wide-reaching webinars and served on local, national and international nonprofit boards. Additionally, I have and continue to volunteer for several nonprofit agencies, coach youth sports, direct youth theatre and annoy my six adult daughters by participating in every aspect of their lives. My passion is serving within a mission-minded organization that is enacting enduring, change and positively impacting the lives of our most vulnerable. My personal mission to lift up all those I encounter is evident in every facet of my life. I have traveled across five continents and dozens of countries, working to improve lives and tirelessly striving to make our world a little better. I believe with my whole heart if God is providing breath in our lungs then He will provide purpose for our lives. It is our job to find that purpose and give everything we have to it! My purpose is defined by my salvation, given freely to me by my Lord and Savior, not earned through my own goodness but gifted upon me by His grace. I am driven to bless others through my life experiences.the GOOD, the BAD and the UGLY! I am shaped by those experiences, by my choices and through fires heaped upon me. But I am NOT defined by them. I define myself by how I treat others, by what I make important in my life and what I do with the time, talent and treasure I have been gifted. I CHOOSE good and I shed the bad and ugly. Join me!#oneblesseddude
