ABOUT AARON BUCKLEY MENG CMGR

As a highly motivated Chartered professional with a range of industry experience, I have led teams on several major infrastructure projects in prominent roles including Project Manager, Lean Production Manager and Technical Interface Lead, successfully engaging and communicating with senior stakeholders in politically-sensitive and fast-paced project environments. I am currently the Project Manager working as part of an agile core team delivering a large scale digital and data transformation programme for UK rail - the first of its kind in over 30 years.Most recent projects up to my current assignment range from the £multi billion Bradwell B Nuclear Power Station New Build (Start-up and mobilisation), £multi billion HS2 Phase 2b (hybrid Bill) developments, and the £multi billion Horizon Nuclear Power Station New Build (major permissions, DCO and DCO Exam), to a £multi million operational programme for the EDF Lifetime and Transition group. In 2020 I delivered the successful set up and leadership of a construction planning team for a £16bn nuclear new build project using Agile Project Management and Lean Production Management techniques.Prior to my role on HS2, I was the Lead Production Manager facilitating a Lean Production Team of 10 through a nuclear new build DCO examination. Previously a Production Manager, I commenced this role in May 2017 with main responsibilities being the coordination and management of five major Environmental Permit Applications as well as statements of common ground to support the submission of a Development Consent Order. Previous project roles include but are not limited to: Global Inside Sales Coordinator, Project Change Coordinator, and Project Controller, giving me the knowledge, well-rounded understanding, and experience of the fundamental elements of successful project delivery and business operations.
