About Aaron Beuhring

I\'m an aspiring Chief Information Security Officer who has successfully built information security programs from the ground up for multiple organizations. My approach to security is to look for ways to make an attacker’s job more expensive to execute than their expected payout by utilizing technologies the company already owns to their fullest extent.At each of the organizations I have worked for I have helped measure and raise the maturity of the security program. I take a risk informed approach to closing security gaps rather than just checking boxes for compliance. I have been involved in major technology transitions from cloud migrations to greenfield deployments and have ensured that the security program I build is able to keep pace with the business and enable it rather than hinder it.I also enjoy building teams with individuals who are similarly passionate about technology. I look for opportunities to coach anyone who is interested in learning about information security and love sharing what I have learned from my successes and failures. Every opportunity to teach others has helped me learn as well.
