About Aaron Beavers
I’m Aaron Beavers — born in Turkey, raised in a proud military family, and shaped by the values of discipline, service, and adaptability. With a father who was a retired USAF Lieutenant Colonel and nurse, and a mother who was a retired registered nurse, I grew up valuing hard work, responsibility, and continuous learning. My interest in architecture began early. In high school in Hawaii, I built a foundation in hand drafting, computer drafting, 3D modeling, and physical model building, which led me to pursue architecture at Texas Tech University. I completed both my Bachelor of Science in Architecture and Master of Architecture, along with a certificate in Urban and Community Development. After graduating, I began my career in Dallas at PRDG, where I earned experience in Senior Living design. I later joined Perkins & Will, where I worked on a wide range of Education projects, from restroom renovations and historic additions to new higher-education buildings. I also had opportunities to support interior renovations, municipal work, a local food pantry project, and retail storefronts. After my career was affected by COVID-19 in May 2020, I quickly pivoted into a six-month contract with MJDII, contributing to several industrial projects and helping start the firm’s first Revit-based workflow. That experience strengthened my understanding of BIM, digital tools, and project coordination.I then joined GSR-Andrade, where I continue to grow while working across healthcare, industrial, aviation, and civic sectors. My experience here has helped me become a reliable BIM specialist, improve my coordination and communication skills, support contractors and consultants, and further develop my ability to resolve design and construction challenges.Throughout all of my roles, I’ve stayed focused on learning, adapting, and supporting others. I value mentorship - both giving and receiving - and I approach every opportunity with curiosity, humility, and the drive to keep growing as a professional and as a person.
