About Aanuoluwapo A.
Aanuoluwapo Adesina is a graduate of the MFA Creative Writing program at Butler University. He has research interests in Ecopoetics, Environmental Writing, African Literature, 19th-century American Literature, Speculative Fiction, Neo-slave narratives, and African Poetry.He is the author of the poetry collection Emocean (Kraft Books, 2016) and the 2016 Nandos Poetry Prize (Coventry) winner. His work was shortlisted for the Jane Martin Poetry Prize (Cambridge University) in 2017. In 2021, his works were Longlisted for the Africa@2050 Climate Fiction Competition, the African Writers Awards, and the Wakini Kuria Prize for Children’s Literature. His works have appeared in Brittle Paper, ROPES Literary Journal, The Kalahari Review, San Antonio Review, Resurrection Magazine, The Citron Review, Vulnerary Magazine, HEBE, and other spaces.
