ABOUT AANJA ABILAR
Hello from the UNLV Honor’s College! My name is Aanja Abilar and I am currently a student pursuing a degree in Accounting through the Lee Business School. Ever since I could hold a brush, I’ve been painting and telling stories through art and visual design, but I have always been equally proficient in numbers, strategy, and structure.I am an analytical creative, applying the same innovations of the canvas to accounting to create fluid work flow, and apply efficient processes to what some might call tedious processes. In my line of work in independent design, projects and processes can lack structure and direction: that’s where I come in. I find joy in creating things and connecting people to impactful work. Discovering that I can do that with numbers with a little bit more structure, I was more than grateful that I had a talent for it, and the affinity for the work.I am seeking real-world experience in the world of accounting.
