Across a 12-year period, improved and supported the growth of the Chapel Street Surgery through a variety of part-time positions from Medical Secretary, to Medical Admin, to Finance Administrator and Claims Manager- Directed the supervision, preparation and upload of monthly, quarterly and annual reports on all claim activities via the Calculating Quality Reporting Service (CQRS) platform- Identified additional claim avenues to boost focus healthcare provider targets. Responsible for updating HR data files, with annual leave/sick leave taken into account- Managed invoices and BACS salary payments to staff as well as to third party providers. Implemented permanent and temporary pay changes, and structured pay-day and BAS deadlines for maximum efficiency- Established internal end-of-year audits, requested by management, to scrutinise performance activities and achieved health targets. Analysed overtime cost reports and liaised with Practice Manager and principal GP- Completed Information Governance training to ensure legal and effectively secure handling of patient information, including the updating of patient information into medical software and databases- Directed year-end procedures, including P45, P35, P60s, and submission of RTI data (FPS/EPS) to HMRC- Enhanced service surgery performance improved by 33% raising annual ES revenue from £15K to £20K.

Successful whilst working part-time and full time, with 15+ years\' experience with the NHS as a Financial Claims Manager in primary care. I have cultivated an impressive track record of leadership, project management, laboratory management, research, computational analysis, finance management, database & IT management.Before cancer, I wanted to be a doctor. However, after living and adjusting to what happened to me, my drive to pursue a scientific discipline converged towards chemistry and, more recently, coding; thanks to a serendipitous Codecademy voucher.
