Spearhead a two-phase $24 M SIRTOA (Staten Island Rapid Transit Operating Authority) infrastructure modernization initiative, overseeing end-to-end planning and execution to upgrade mission-critical systems with no disruption to transit operations.• Orchestrate the migration of critical IT services and infrastructure components, including Active Directory domain controllers, McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator (ePO), Microsoft SCCM, Splunk, patch management servers, privileged access management (PAM) servers, and physical security platforms (Genetec Security Center, Situator suite, and 10+ Archiver servers), modernizing the environment and enhancing overall security and reliability.• Ensure alignment with SOC 2 controls and Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) NYC cybersecurity and compliance requirements throughout the project, meeting rigorous governance standards and bolstering the organization’s security posture.• Lead cross-functional teams and coordinate third-party vendors, collaborating closely with MTA stakeholders on comprehensive risk assessments and mitigation strategies to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery across all project phases.• Coordinate comprehensive training and knowledge transfer for IT staff on new systems and processes, fostering high operational readiness and long-term sustainability of the modernized infrastructure.• Drive strategic planning for Phase 2 expansion, including full deployment of Genetec Archiver servers, to expand surveillance capabilities and future-proof SIRTOA’s IT infrastructure.
